Basic informations
- Fibrous granulate - stabilizing additive for SMA type mixtures.
- Also available in loose fibre form.
Benefits and use
- Stabilizing additive that prevents asphalt binder from drainage and sweating.
- Use in asphalt mixtures of SMA type, asphalt mixtures for surface courses with reduced noise or with higher asphalt binder content.
- Can also be used in binder courses – SMA L and thus to achieve low maintenance covers.
- SMA and SMA L are used for heavily loaded roads and areas.
- Without the formation of asphalt spots on the road surface with the risk of skidding.
Dosage
- 0.3% to 0.5% depending on the type and properties of the asphalt mix
Packaging
- Big Bag (500 kg) or disposable PE packs in weights from 1 to 15 kg.
