Basic informations
- Special rubber-asphalt granulate for dry modification of asphalt mixtures.
- Also referred as CRBC - rubber granulate modified asphalt concentrate.
- No additional dosing and mixing equipment or plant equipment is required to use the additive.
- Production and laying is as for conventional mixes.
- The product does not contain any unwanted metal additives.
Benefits and use
- Highly concentrated pre-activated 80 % rubber-asphalt with the addition of cellulose fiber intended for dry modification of all types asphalt mixtures.
- Can also be used in asphalt mixtures for surface courses with that reduces noise.
- Enables increased dosing of the asphalt binder and thus brings about a longer lifetime of the asphalt layers.
- Increases resistance to crack initiation and propagation, improves resistance to permanent deformation and resistance to fatigue.
- No excessive stress or contamination of the asphalt plant equipment compared to normal production.
Dosage
- Any amount of granulate according to the specification or project up to 42% of the binder weight.
- Dosing in the usual way from the hopper to the mixer together with the aggregates.
Packaging
- Bulk Big Bags (500 kg) or disposable PE packs in weights from 1 to 15 kg.
